for Blossom and Full Bloom Packages

  • Gather and prepare all the content for your website, including artwork images and copy. Complete a Questionnaire so we can learn more about you in order to create the perfect site for your art.

  • After submitting your Questionnaire, we’ll have a call to further discuss your website vision. Based on the call and your Questionnaire responses, we’ll design your Mood Board as a first look at the ideas for your site.

  • After we’ve tweaked the Mood Board to your liking, our Designer will begin creating your website. By this stage, you will have finished preparing all your content and have purchased a Squarespace plan, so your site is ready to build.

  • Before launch, we need to make sure your website is exactly as you envisioned. At this stage, you’ll have two chances to make revisions. We’ll also connect important features so you can receive messages, emails, and/or payments.

  • Your website is complete, checked for bugs and is fully mobile optimised. Now you can share your brand new website with the world and start attracting more of your dream audience.

FAQS

  • Success as an artist has many definitions, it might mean having numerous sales to one artist and building up a name and collaborating with many brands to another. Whatever the goal may be, various factors are involved in this success. At Shrub Designs, with the skills and knowledge we have, we try to create what we believe is best website for the artist to get closer to their goals, however success as they define it cannot be guaranteed.

  • Yes. We will go through the back end of your website to make sure your website is SEO optimised. Although we cannot guarantee your website will rank highest for the keywords surrounding your art, we put in place essential elements to boost your website SEO and chances of ranking higher in search engine results.

    We do not write any copy or in-website content that is designed to optimised your SEO.

  • At the start of every website project you will have a Squarespace account, and in due course we will guide you start a blank website with a Squarespace plan (if you don’t have one already). We will then ask you to grant us Admin Permissions to the site so we can build you your site. Once your site is complete you can take full control back of your new art website.

  • If you book a call with us, we will be able to help you figure out what Squarespace plan is right for you based on what goals and requirements you have.

  • We work with artists whoare already using Squarespace and already have subscriptions that haven’t yet expired. If you grant us Admin Permissions to your site, we will be able to build you your new site without you having to cancel your subscription. Be sure to check if the requirements for your new website can be implemented with your existing plan.

  • Unfortunately, at this time we only build websites on Squarespace. If you’d like to know more about Squarespace and whether it may be a worthwhile switch, book a call and speak to us.

  • Each package has a different delivery time, but with every package you must factor in possible waiting times and the time it will take you to gather and prepare your website content.

  • We hope ou’ll love your website! With the Blossom and Full Bloom Packages you’ll be given a Mood Board stage during which you can review and revise the ideas for your site until your happy with the vision in place for your new art website.

  • We provide you with an Agreement to accept that states the protections you have and manner in which we use your assets so as to preserve their integrity and prevent any maluse of your assets nor your artwork.
